We are seeking an experienced Learning Disability Nurse to join our Children's Learning Disability Team as a Nurse in Children's Services. In this role, you will work closely with children and young people with learning disabilities and their families to deliver high-quality health services.
About the Role:
- Provide expert nursing care to children and young people with learning disabilities.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with families and other agencies.
- Promote health and wellbeing through education and training initiatives.

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of specialist services, including mental health care, inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health, and forensic services. We also offer physical health and well-being services in the community.
Person Specification:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registered Learning Disability Nurse qualification.
- Current NMC Registration.
- Demonstrated ongoing professional development.
You will also require:
- Knowledge of child protection policies and procedures.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Awareness of the need for confidentiality.
