Vacancy: Program Controls Manager
Location:Royston, Brimsdown, West Deptford, Enfield

As the Program Controls Manager you willmanage a small but experienced Team that offers functional support andguidance to the execution teams at sites, and provide expert advice toSenior Stakeholders. These support areas integrate cost, schedule,risk, change, estimating and project / finance tracking withassociated reporting for the global PGMS business. The rolefacilitates standardised processes and procedures for project controlsat sites and the business and where new and unique projects evolvewill help shape the control boundaries at stage gates to enablesuccess for the emerging Capex Portfolio. This team will 'own' theglobal in-flight capital performance dashboard for the business.

Yourresponsibilities:
Provide overall leadership formultiple projects as the Program Controls Manager, reporting to theGlobal Capital Manager.
Supervise a small team to deliverbusiness project controls functions locally and advise on globalprojects as part of the wider Business team and Project Controlsmanager.
Execute project controls processes and improve toolsets to integrate approximately £300-500m across 7 geographic areasinto a Performance Management dashboard with KPIs to outline ongoingrisks and success.
Develop successful execution strategieswith internal JM functions and 3rd party firms to achieve projectcompletions on time, within budget, and at required quality levels,considering safety and reliability.
Drive continuousimprovement by maximizing the effectiveness of current tool sets,workflows, and partnerships across JM.
Operate as a peerreview for other programs and work as part of a wider community ofpractice.
Supporting project management with cost estimatingservices, scheduling, best practices solutions
Balancingstakeholders at various sites globally to ensure the in-flightperformance of the business portfolio is on track to the baselinesagreed.
Understand value of work completed models (EVM) forprojects and apply Forecast overlays to predict the future outcomes ofthe projects and portfolios.

Requirementsfor the role:
Degree-qualified in Engineering and/orCommercial Functions or substantial experience in lieu.
Desirable to have a Professional qualification in projectmanagement, RICS, etc. (e.g. from APM, Prince2 or PMI) or willingnessto complete the course.
Significant Experience of projectplanning, ideally using P6, or other large software platforms thatcaters for resources, and costs management .
Experience insetting up and managing project controls capability for a globalbusiness, including processes, procedures, and systems.
Significant Experience of Cost Management, reporting andforecasting. Using data sets from multiple sources, Internal, Externalwith the
Ability to define business requirements andreporting systems for deployment across the company.
Expertise in applying budgeting and cost control techniqueswithin a complex environment.
Strong understanding of risks,claim analysis, procurement, benchmarking, and project healthmonitoring.
Skilled in providing expert advice, presentingreports/issues at management meetings, and delivering detailedanalysis on Earned Value metrics.
