This successful financial services company are looking for an experienced Head of PR and Communications to join its developing Corporate Affairs Team on a 9 month fixed term contract.

You will develop and lead the PR, media and digital communication strategies to support the overall corporate comms strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute insight-led PR and media relations strategy
  • Lead on the digital communication strategy, including strategy and purpose for individual digital channels
  • Overall accountability for the tone of voice and content for the corporate website
  • Advising on media engagement and PR opportunities to support business strategy
  • Lead on crisis communications plans and advise on comms risk handling
  • Support the development of ESG strategy
  • Work closely with internal communications team on developing culture and embedding the delivery of the new strategy
  • Manage relationship with retained PR, comms & digital agency

Skills & Experience

  • Experience working in Corporate Communications at leadership level
  • Strong experience of developing and delivering comprehensive, integrated communications strategies
  • Proven experience of media management with a good understanding of the developing media landscape
  • Experience of communications for major incidents or crisis situations
  • Experience of directing and managing agency support
  • Excellent written and spoken communications skills

This is a 9 month FTC and salary up to £75,000 pro rata
