Job Description

Reporting to the Group Health, Safety and Environment Manager, the Health, Safety and Environment Manager will hold full responsibility for HSE across this complex manufacturing facility. You will be tasked with ensuring the systems, processes and audits are to a high standard, and are continuously improved where possible. You will ensure all team members are always up to date on best practices and training. Day to day responsibilities will include:


· Develop and drive the HSE plan for the site in pursuit of HSE excellence

· Work with the Operations Leadership Team in order to ensure adequate precautions and controls are in place in relation to the associated risks of the processes

· Ensure all site projects are risk assessed and carried out in adherence with the appropriate HSE measures

· Conduct trend analysis from all incidents, near misses, safe behaviours and deep compliance audits

· Reduce site's waste and environmental impact

· Ensure site meets all local/national regulatory requirements by implementing relevant procedures and policies

The Successful Applicant

The successful Health, Safety and Environment Manager should have:


  • Proven experience in a similar role within an FMCG manufacturing environment
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices
  • Analytical approach
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics
  • A strong NEBOSH qualification
