Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in complex care business development, ideally in supported living or in bringing on packages from local authorities, as well as 2 years of experience in business development in healthcare. The role is remote, so the candidate can be based anywhere in England.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for business growth in the complex care sector, with a focus on supported living and local authority packages
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in healthcare, including partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, healthcare providers, and other relevant organizations
- Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to develop proposals and negotiate contracts
- Maintain a deep understanding of the complex care and healthcare industries, including regulatory frameworks, industry trends, and competitive landscape
- Work with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns and other outreach initiatives
- Manage a team of business development professionals and ensure that they are meeting their targets and delivering high-quality work (should you be of management level)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in complex care business development, ideally in supported living or in bringing on packages from local authorities
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development in healthcare
- Proven track record of developing and closing complex deals in the healthcare industry
- Strong understanding of the complex care and healthcare industries, including regulatory frameworks, industry trends, and competitive landscape
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Experience managing a team of business development professionals (if relevant)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, healthcare, etc.) is beneficial
- A go-getter personality, an individual driven to succeed
