Secondly, we open international markets and ensure resilient supply chains. This can be through Free Trade Agreements, trade facilitation and multilateral agreements. 

Finally, we work in partnership with businesses every day, providing advance, finance and deal-making support to those looking to start up, invest, export and grow.  

Job Description

As our Power Platform Developer in our dynamic digital team, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative applications, automations and reporting solutions centred around the Microsoft Power Platform. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and technical experts to understand user needs and business requirements. You will collaborate with outsourced digital suppliers and our IT Services supplier to ensure our products and services work.  

Your focus will be on delivering high-quality solutions that empower our organization to achieve its goals. You may support delivery of digital projects outside of the Power Platform also. 

You will have a crucial role within our Digital Centre of Excellence helping to build capability across TRA and support our citizen developers to innovate.  

We will provide you with opportunities to upskill and develop in the role so if you demonstrate potential we will work with you to obtain any necessary accreditations to become an expert.  

Responsibilities

In this role you will:

Develop and maintain PowerApps applications, Power Pages websites/portals and Power Automate flows.
Implement API connections and custom connectors to integrate with external systems.
Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and adhere to best practices.
Collaborate with team members to design user-friendly interfaces and experiences.
Provide technical support and training to end-users.
Stay current with the latest updates and features in Power Platform and related technologies. 
Essential Skills and Experience

You will need to have demonstrable skills and experience of:

Digital Delivery 

Experience of working in a digital delivery environment. An understanding of research, design and analysis and building software that meets user need. 
Agile Principles 

Have had experience in applying Agile principles in practice in order to effectively manage change and deliver value quickly and effectively. 
Stakeholder Engagement  

Can facilitate difficult discussions within the team or with diverse senior stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.  
Digital Tooling 

Experience and confidence in the use of digital tools to support delivery.
