Windsor Olympus Academy, Perrott Street, Birmingham, B18 4LX

Supporting the Community and Making a Difference in the World

We believe in delivering education for the greater good, positively impacting the local community and the world. For us, this means providing students with opportunities to make a difference in their community and more widely.

Our school will be at the heart of the community, and students will support the local community in numerous ways, including participating in community projects, raising money for charity and delivering musical and dance performances. It will be a welcoming place for all. Local residents, community groups and sports clubs will be able to use our excellent facilities.

Students will also play a critical role in driving sustainability across the school to support our vision of leaving the world in a better place for future generations. This will include joining our eco-club, developing our sustainability strategy and working with organisations promoting sustainability.

Our on-site Eco-hub is going to be a key part of student life at Windsor Olympus Academy. In our outdoor classroom, students will gain hands-on experience of what it means to build a sustainable environment, enjoy nature and look after our planet. All this while gaining the well-established benefits to health that are associated with being outdoors.

We know that schools and children thrive best when communities do. Providing opportunities for our students to make a difference and engage with the community will enable our school, students and the community to thrive.

At the heart of the community

Our school will be at the heart of the community and a welcoming place for all.

Facilities for the community

Our school is for the community and local residents, community groups and sports clubs will be able to use our facilities.
