**Community Project Officer**

We are seeking a Community Project Officer at the Trust to work primarily on our new Thrive on my Doorstep programme.

At the Trust we are extremely passionate about providing opportunities for everyone and we create programmes which aim to increase engagement in sport and activity, providing opportunities to those who may face barriers to participation and developing and empowering young people to achieve potential, improve their well-being and work together to build stronger, safer and more inclusive communities.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified coach who is looking for a new challenge and who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people.

You will be responsible for coordinating our newly launched programme, funded by Department for Transport and Groundwork in partnership with HS2, will focus on local communities making better use of green spaces, using skills and talents of local people to enable them to become part of and deliver on the programme and to provide opportunities for young people to support them into positive pathways.

**Essential Requirements**
- Minimum of UEFA C Coaching Licence
- Multi Sports Level 2 qualification
- FA Safeguarding and First Aid Certification
- A current Enhanced DBS check and full driving licence.
- Experience of working in community sport
- Full driving licence

- Proven track record in delivering coaching sessions

- Trustworthy, reliable and highly focused
- Excellent organisational skills
- Able to work on own initiative
- Learning and development opportunities
- Ability to work within timescales & under pressure, with an attention to detail & accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills
