**Role: Project Support Officer**
**Location: Remote**
**Duration: Temporary for 6 Months**
**Salary: £27,000 to £41,000 depending on experience**
Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting for a Project Support Officer for a Public Sector organisation.
This role would be suitable for a professional with project support experience and who is wanting a short interim role to develop their experience within the public sector, to improve access, productivity, efficient and effective customer service whilstfollowing the organisations processes and procedures.
**The duties of the Project Support Officer include**:
- Provide day-to-day project operational support to the project and programme managers
- Act as point of contact for the programme team
- Deal and respond effectively to complex queries from stakeholders
- Support implementation of any partnership arrangements that are developed and agreed
- Provide project expertise to the designated PMO lead and programme managers, deputise where necessary
- Be prepared to take the lead on smaller projects
- Facilitate and support meetings and workshops, take notes/actions where necessary
- Assist with the compilation of project reports and documentation ensuring that information can reviewed in a timely manner
- Promote the department in a positive manner and participate in forums in order to update staff/customers on specific projects
- Maintain and update the tracking database to help ensure accurate record keeping
- Ensure the records are to a standard that will meet audit requirements
- Develop and maintain effectively to ensure information is kept secure and accessible to other members of the team
**The ideal Project Support Officer will have**:
- Experience within the Public Sector
- Previous experience within similar role
- Strong Project management skills
- Stakeholder Management experience
- Experience with dedicated project management software would be beneficial but not essential
The Project Support Officer will need to have excellent communication skills, and attention to detail. They will also need to able to prioritise their workload and be efficient and effective to meet changing and tight deadlines.
