A day in the life of…

As HR Administrator, you will oversee all admin tasks and be the first line of contact for our colleagues, ensuring a robust recruitment and retention strategy is implemented within the business. You will oversee payrolls for all employees, ensuring renumeration is calculated correctly in line with legal requirements and work with HOD’s and management to ensure all colleagues are correctly onboarded and inducted into the business. Finally, you ensure all colleague training is up to date and a culture of team engagement is fostered throughout the business.

Based in the Crowne Plaza Newcastle you will be part of a team of passionate people who know that being the best doesn’t always mean working around the clock.

To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills

  • Basic understanding of employment law.
  • Strong administration skills.
  • Accurate attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Self-motivated and a team player.
  • Discretion and honesty when handling confidential information.
  • Strong communication skills – verbally and written.
  • A positive approach to work.

To be qulaified for this role you must be educated to GSCE level and above.

Level 3 CIPD Diploma in People Management qualification or working towards would be also be desirable.

Additonally, the ideal candidate will have the following experience

  • HR Administration experience (minimum of 1 years).
  • Recruitment experience (minimum of 1 years)
