We are seeking a dedicated Sales Manager to expand our business to customers worldwide. Coyne Airways has been operating in the global cargo and charter business for 30 years, providing a range of scheduled and charter services to global customers.

We have two main bases: in London and Dubai. This position will be London-based.

While our London operation is dedicated mainly to scheduled operations from Europe to countries around the Caspian and to Central Asia, we now want to expand our charter business to emulate our successful Dubai charter operations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating sales within a logistics team experienced in all aspects of air transport. The successful candidate will identify and quote customers and will coordinate with carriers and our operations staff for the successful execution of the business to our customers' satisfaction.

Prior experience with one of the 3 big charter brokers would be an asset. Coyne Airways scheduled services are mainly eastwards and combined with the return legs of charters flights from China, can give us a big cost advantage.

Duties:

  1. Plan and coordinate a cohesive sales approach to our customer base.
  2. Prepare initiatives to promote and capture lucrative contracts for both charter and scheduled cargo operation.
  3. Work with our 50 plus general sales agents worldwide to get the best results.
  4. Develop strong links with carriers in the Asia to Europe and Transpacific markets.
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
  6. Monitor inventory levels and track shipments to prevent delays.
  7. Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to streamline operations.
  8. Implement cost-effective strategies to improve overall efficiency.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in the air cargo/charter business in a similar role within the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft operations and cargo handling procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using logistics software and MS Office applications.
