Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Site Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management of electrical installations on commercial and retail projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role is predominantly office-based in Chorley but requires regular travel for site visits.

Key Responsibilities:

* Project Management: Lead and manage electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring all activities are executed according to plans, specifications, and company standards.

* Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits (1-2 times per week) to monitor progress, inspect work quality, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

* Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the work of electricians, subcontractors, and other site personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

* Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction with the project outcomes.

* Resource Management: Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

* Compliance: Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, codes, and standards, including health and safety requirements.

* Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.

* Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that may impact project timelines or quality.

* Qualifications and Experience:

* Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a management role within the electrical industry, preferably in commercial and retail projects.

* Certifications: SMSTS or SSSTS certification is essential.

Skills:

* Strong leadership and team management abilities.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Proficient in project management software and tools.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Personal Attributes:

* Ambitious and driven, with a passion for achieving excellence.

* Enthusiastic and motivated, with a proactive approach to work.

* Willingness to travel and go the extra mile to ensure project success.

* Additional Requirements:

* Valid driver's license and ability to travel across the UK as needed.
