Job Opportunity at Ipsum

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at Ipsum, a leading provider of specialist utility and infrastructure solutions.

About the Role

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing Ipsum client sites, working closely with our Project Managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the direction of projects, ensuring that client specifications and requirements are met.
  • Supervise and coordinate construction personnel, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Liaise with clients, other construction professionals, and members of the public to ensure that projects are delivered smoothly.
  • Coordinate and supervise the installation of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct regular site safety inspections and ensure that all necessary safety procedures are in place.
  • Prepare and maintain site reports and safety files.
  • Induct new personnel onto site and ensure that all necessary training is provided.
  • Fault find and problem solve to ensure that projects are delivered to the highest standard.

Requirements

  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme card.
  • First Aid at work (or willingness to be trained).
  • CSCS manager's card.
  • Previous site management experience working in the utilities sector.
  • Experience with CDM regulations.
  • Experience in civil construction.
  • Mechanical and Electrical or Construction industry experience.
