We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at Ipsum, a leading provider of specialist utility and infrastructure solutions.

About the Role

As a Site Manager at Ipsum, you will be responsible for managing our client sites, working closely with our Project Managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the direction of projects, ensuring that client specifications and requirements are met.
  • Supervise and coordinate construction personnel, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Liaise with clients, other construction professionals, and members of the public to ensure that projects are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise the installation of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Carry out safety inspections and ensure that site safety procedures are followed.
  • Maintain quality control procedures and prepare site reports.
  • Carry out site inductions and ensure that all personnel are aware of site safety procedures.
  • Fault find and problem solve, assessing and minimizing risk.

Requirements

  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme card.
  • First Aid at work (or willing to be trained).
  • CSCS manager's card.
  • Previous site management experience working in the utilities sector.
  • Experience with CDM regulations.
  • Experience in civil construction.
  • Mechanical and Electrical or Construction industry experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • A strong sense of initiative.
  • The ability to build excellent working relationships.
  • Good time management and an ability to plan ahead.
  • Critical and problem-solving skills.
