About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at Ipsum. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing our client sites, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of our client sites
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction personnel
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and site safety protocols
  • Coordinate and manage site resources, including plant and equipment
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure high-quality work
  • Prepare and submit site reports and updates to the Project Manager
  • Conduct site inductions and ensure that all personnel are aware of site safety procedures
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with site operations

Requirements

  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme card
  • First Aid at work (or willing to be trained)
  • CSCS manager's card
  • Previous site management experience working in the utilities sector
  • Experience with CDM regulations
  • Experience in civil construction
  • Mechanical and Electrical or Construction industry experience
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • A strong sense of initiative
  • The ability to build excellent working relationships
  • Good time management and an ability to plan ahead
  • Critical and problem-solving skills
