Your new role​

Job Purpose​

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be required to manage a Ipsum client sites.​

Principal Accountabilities​

Working as Principal Contractor ​

Ability to oversee Electrical and mechanical installations​

Working with and updating the Project Manager ​

Supervision and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress​

Liaising with the Project manager, client, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public​

Coordinate and supervise construction personnel​

Carry out checks on plant and equipment for suitability​

Carry out safety inspections and ensuring site safety ​

Maintaining quality control procedures ​

Preparing site reports and updating the site safety file​

Carry out site inductions​

Fault finding and problem solving ​

Assessing and minimising risk​

About you​

Essential qualifications/ skills/ experience ​

Qualifications​

Site Management Safety Training Scheme card​

First Aid at work (or willing to be trained)​

CSCS manager’s card ​

Knowledge & Experience​

Previous site management experience working in utilities sector.​

Experience with CDM regulations ​

Experience in civil construction ​

Mechanical and Electrical or Construction industry experience​

Skills & Personal Qualities​

Exceptional communication skills​

A strong sense of initiative​

The ability to build excellent working relationships.​

Good time management and an ability to plan ahead.​

Critical and problem-solving skills
