My client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join an expanding team on a permanent basis in the Bedlington area.
68 per hour
* Monday to Friday
* Minimum of 40 hours per week
* Overtime available on a regular basis during the week, Saturday's and Sunday's
Mechanical fitting using the direction of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Work on Precision Parts, Sub-Assemblies and Final Assemblies
* Carry out Final Test and Commissioning on Part Completed or Completed Systems
* Working to set deadlines to achieve performance targets and Customer delivery commitments
* Working in a compliant manner to ensure that products are built to the correct technical and quality specifications
* Must have the ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply instructions correctly to achieve required product quality
* Experience across a range of mechanical and hydraulic systems and components
* Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience in using a variety of engineering equipment with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply instructions correctly to achieve required product quality
* Must hold an Engineering Apprenticeship qualification within a Manufacturing/Engineering environment or relevant recognised qualification
