**Plant Fitter**

REMONDIS is seeking to appoint a new member to its plant maintenance team and is interested in hearing from suitable applicants.

**The role**
- To carry out servicing on plant and machines
- To complete work using the ‘right first time’ approach
- To efficiently diagnose standard faults and to continuously improve working methods and standards.
- Liase with the Plant Manager if the repair diagnosis is more complex
- Reports current and potential faults and service requirements noticed whilst working on a machine to the plant manager and obtain parts prices if requested to do so.
- Ensures maximum use of technical knowledge and skills to achieve effective, economic, and safe service
- Complete all records as required.

**The person**
- At least one years’ experience
- Understands own responsibilities for health and Safety at work
- Accepts training in basic health and safety awareness and the specific risks and controls in their workplace and adheres to the training outcomes and requirements.
- Complies with company policy and management requirements to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.
- Reports promptly to management any matters which may affect health or safety at work.
- Awareness of the need for good housekeeping and for keeping the work are clean, tidy and secure.
- Strong communication skills

**Location**

The role will be based at our Bedlington site.

Pay: From £32,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
