Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

Kinetic PLC is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team on a permanent basis in the Bedlington area.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to work on a range of mechanical and hydraulic systems and components. The successful candidate will have experience in using a variety of engineering equipment and be able to interpret engineering drawings and apply instructions correctly to achieve required product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out mechanical fitting using the direction of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Work on precision parts, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
  • Perform final test and commissioning on part completed or completed systems.
  • Install, test, and repair hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, and valves.
  • Use hand tools, grinders, and drills to achieve required product quality.
Requirements:
  • Experience across a range of mechanical and hydraulic systems and components.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply instructions correctly.
  • Previous experience working with hydraulics.
  • Engineering Apprenticeship qualification within a manufacturing/engineering environment or relevant recognised qualification.
