Job Description

Devoteam UK has an immediate opportunity for an experienced AWS Sales Executive. We are looking for an experienced and driven new logo sales person who is used to personally signing > £4M of AWS based professional services deals per annum. Focus is on working with target customers to develop and win advisory, project and managed services deals.

Main objectives are to:

  • Deliver a personal signings target on new logo acquisition focused on our key professional services propositions of migration to AWS Cloud, and app modernisation / DevOps, AI / Data on AWS Cloud, in the Corporate and Enterprise segments

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the delivery of quota through effective prospecting, deal identification, development with a strong focus on deal closure
  • Involvement in marketing events to identify new contacts and clients
  • Leveraging and extending your existing network in AWS to deliver pipeline and position Devoteam as a partner of choice for our priority propositions
  • Manage senior relationships for major customers
  • Define and deliver on your go to market plan, supported by SMEs and the UK Sales Director and others.

Experience and Competence

  • Proven record in new logo focused sales in the AWS ecosystem in professional services
  • Must possess a strong technical aptitude, a relentless focus on objectives, an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction and an ability to execute on multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the repeatable selling techniques and skills
  • Presentation and strong interpersonal skills essential
  • Highly Motivated and proactive individual with a drive to succeed
  • Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Must expect travel throughout the UK and possibly Europe

We have big ambitions in this field in EMEA and the UK, so Devoteam UK has an immediate opportunity for an AI / Data leader to spearhead the creation and launch of the UK AWS AI / Data capability. This is a sales focused role for a true SME who can define the most powerful propositions and personally take them to market to create demand, leveraging existing UK and Group resources to deliver, and then build out the practice as the pipeline grows.

Main objectives are to:

  • Own and deliver a personal signings target on new logo acquisition focused on our key professional services propositions in AI / Data in AWS Cloud in the Corporate and Enterprise segments.
  • Build an expert team in the UK and forge collaboration and co-delivery with other centres of excellence across Devoteam
  • Represent Devoteam UK in the Group AI / Data practice, and provide senior leadership, vision and support to continually build, and scale this successful global practice.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the delivery of quota through effective prospecting, deal identification, development with a strong focus on deal closure
  • Leverage your eminence and network in the UK market to build a successful pipeline of business
  • Involvement in marketing events to identify new contacts and clients as well as promoting Devoteam as a leader in this field
  • Manage senior relationships for major customers
  • Define and deliver on your go to market plan, supported by SMEs, the UK Sales Director, group AWS pillar and others.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive AI / Data strategy
  • Build and lead a team of AI / Data professionals
  • Leading & supporting customer discovery & consulting activities by running interactive sessions, interviewing employees and creating structured written reports, roadmaps and presentations for the customer.
  • Provide engagement leadership & cultivate client relationships for the lifetime of the account ensuring success through delivery & growth of the account.
  • Provide thought leadership publicly, to customers and our own consultants both in written (blog posts, white papers) and verbal (webinars, lunch and learn sessions) form.
  • Act as an escalation point for the customer to resolve delivery issues if they arise.
  • Develop training and development programs for the team.
  • Oversee the design, development and deployment of AI / Data solutions.
  • Communicate AI / data strategies, initiatives, and outcomes effectively across the business and externally.
  • Be aware of the ethical application of AI, and the legal regulations and industry standards.
  • Assert policies and protocols to manage AI ethics, privacy, and security concerns.

Experience and Competence

  • Proven record in new logo focused sales in the AWS AI / Data ecosystem in professional services including strong commercial / negotiation skills
  • Must possess a strong technical aptitude, a relentless focus on delivering outcomes, an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction and an ability to execute on multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the repeatable selling techniques and skills
  • Past or current experience in delivery leadership with a focus on enterprise transformation
  • Previous experience in business case creation is essential
  • Experience in mapping business pain to technology solutions and operating model changes. With a specific focus around data, analytics, AI & ML
  • Able to document strategic roadmaps and build investment cases for transformational change in highly regulated enterprise customers
  • Build and execute multi-stream transformation programmes
  • Deep understanding of modern data architectures, governance approaches and ways of working
  • Excellent proven understanding of a specific domain that is valuable to our customers
  • Skilled at developing Work Orders / Statements of Work with sales teams & delivery consultants.
  • Past or current experience in a Consulting position (Technical & Business experience)
