The AWS Strategic Industries (AWSI) organization within AWS supports Fortune 200 enterprise organizations with multi-national operations and decentralized IT decision making in their journey to AWS. Within the AWS Strategic Industries organization, the Automotive & Manufacturing Industry Business Unit (IBU) leads development of the industry business strategy, technology roadmaps, and partner strategies. The IBU organizes Industry Sales, Solution Architecture (SA), Customer Solutions Management (CSM), Partner Sales and Strategy, Business Development, Solutions, and Go-to-Market (GTM) under one roof for focus, growth, and efficiency. The objective is to deliver business outcomes for all Automotive & Manufacturing industry customers and to accelerate AWS cloud adoption across industry sectors and allows us to create outsized partnerships that can change AWS’ trajectory of their digital transformation journey. Within the IBU, the Business Management team ‘’Empowers the Engine” of the AWS Automotive & Manufacturing Industry Business Unit. We work relentlessly to initiate, automate, and accelerate mechanisms to operationally execute on the IBU strategy. We ensure our stakeholders are set up for success to better serve customers and drive global business growth. We drive efficiency, predictability and rigor in our operating cadence, and promote inter-connected business planning and operations, enabling the field to serve the customer the way they want to be served. Are you passionate about solving complex business problems, diving into data, driving process improvement and leading change throughout an organization? The Business Management team within the Automotive & Manufacturing IBU is seeking an experienced Sales Operations Lead to partner with our EMEA strategic account management teams and our Director of Automotive Sales in order to define, land, and execute against our strategic priorities. This leader will report to the Senior Manager, Automotive Business Management and will own sales operations for the EMEA sales teams, create and implement success metrics for the organization, as well as drive process improvement and productivity initiatives. This role will partner with EMEA Sales Leadership, the Director of Automotive Sales, and other cross-functional teams to develop standard metrics that measure productivity and success of programs, automate and optimize operational processes, and invent new ways of diving deep with data to uncover actionable insights that help us serve our internal and external customers. They will be responsible for looking around corners and measuring the performance of the organization, supplying their sales leadership with relevant and timely insights on the health of their business, and will effectively manage the operating cadence for the team.

Key job responsibilities
As a Sales Operations Lead, your role is critical and highly visible across the organization. Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Lead strategic planning and annual planning activities for your account teams
- Develop management dashboards and reports that are actionable and automated
- Drive process improvement and change management - lead and deliver training
- Implement the global operating cadence for account teams working backwards from the IBU milestones
- Track and report all key performance indicators, goals, efficiency and trend analyses during monthly business reviews
- Prepare ad hoc analysis & participate on projects as needed
- Analyze data and trends to make informed recommendations to managers and drive change
- Define requirements for specific tool
