Job Description

Our well-established Freight Forwarding client based in South East London is looking for a Import/Export Clerk.

Job Description for Import/Export Clerk

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day freight operations, including managing import and export shipments.

Handle documentation related to import and export processes.

Create and maintain job files, ensuring all necessary operations paperwork is completed.

Collaborate with airlines and carriers to coordinate shipments.

Engage in extensive communication and negotiation with suppliers and clients.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role, such as air, road, or sea freight operator/clerk/coordinator.

Proficiency in export operations.

Familiarity with import operations.

Salary £25,000 to £35,000 depending on experience.

Bonuses paid 2 x per year (January & July) after 6 months service

28 days holiday including bank holidays
