Sales Account Coordinator

An exciting opportunity as become available in our sales team. We are looking for a Sales Account Coordinator to join our dedicated team at our Colchester office. This is a vital role in our logistics operations, and we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Learn more about the general tasks related to this opportunity below, as well as required skills. Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Rate & commercial negotiations.
  • Development & implementation of both new & existing business & products.
  • Management & revision of rate structures.
  • Escalation point for ECC Internal departments (Customer Services, Operations, Administration, Legal).
  • Escalation point for clients as required.
  • Business reviews to be held with clients (remote/client site/Ewals location) – Expectation twice yearly (minimum).
  • Monthly reviews with ECC Production team – CSD – developments, results etc.
  • Weekly volume & monthly financial reviews with Line Manager.
  • Monthly financial analysis including budget vs actual.
  • Credit terms adherence & improvement (link to DSO – day sales outstanding, reduction plan).
Hours of work consists of: Monday to Friday 8:30 to 17:30 The ideal candidate: In order to make the role a success, the candidate should have the correct skills in escalating issues towards clients, whilst also cascading issues back from the clients to the business.
