A large European food group who have started to build their UK presence is looking to hire a National Account Manager who will manage their B2B channel working with Food Manufacturers. The UK business has taken off with contracts already secured with some of the UK's largest food producers. This role will present the opportunity for a talented National Accounts professional to get rapid exposure to major customers and fast track their career through strong coaching in all commercial areas of FMCG. The business has UK sales of more than £18m and growing at pace. Maximising sales and margin to deliver financial growth year on year
Build a strong network of contacts and be the customers go to contact
Best in class day to day account management
Effective cross functional collaboration with department heads and appointed Suppliers overseas
5-8 years’ + experience managing B2B customers ideally food manufacturers
~ Ideally some classic blue-chip training, preferably combined with experience gained at a high growth SME’s
~ Great at working within and leading cross functional project teams
~ Exemplary commercial acumen & negotiation skills
~ Available to travel to Europe for meetings with Supplier partners, where required
