Job Description

HR Employee Benefits Specialist / Hybrid / 18 month FTC / £65,000

My client, a global financial services company, are looking for an expert in employee benefits to join them on an initial fixed term contract. Within this role you will work on benefits programs and professional development, alongside general HR inquiries. As an Employee Benefits specialist you will partner closely with management and play a key role in improving employee experience. For this role you should have experience in a similar organisation and be a confident self-starter.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with HR managers to ensure effective HR solutions to all employees
  • You will be responsible for all aspects the employee benefits and pensions schemes, this will include operational duties and interacting with multiple stakeholders
  • Act as a partner to the business in relation to employee benefit developments, development needs and training program delivery
  • Ensure employee experience is constantly developed
  • Main point of contact for HR shared services, payroll and communicate with third parties in relation to those
  • Support with the induction of new hires and ensure they are aware of all of the tools available to them

Essential Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar organisation
  • You should be an expert in employee benefits and be able to respond to all queries on benefits, professional development and other general HR queries
  • You should have a strong understanding of the apprenticeship levy and be able to manage the UK apprenticeship schemes
  • Be a strong communicator who has the ability to liaise and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experienced in the administration of pensions and benefits as well as their annual review
  • Strong project management skills
  • The ability to work closely with overseas teams and external consultants and suppliers
  • Confident in carrying out employee inductions to the business
  • Strong self starter who is able to work on a sole basis and is happy to be involved at all levels
