We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Environmental Manager to join our dedicated team in Suffolk, with occasional visits to our London office. This role is critical in supporting our sustainability and environmental efforts, ensuring we meet and exceed legal and company standards while fostering a culture of continual improvement. As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance) we will support the building for Sizewell C. Implement the Environmental and Sustainability (E+S) strategy for projects.
Advise and guide project managers, regional managers, and other stakeholders on E+S matters.
Manage and support Environmental and Sustainability Advisors.
Conduct project impact assessments and coordinate specific environmental and sustainability commitments.
Ensure compliance with regulations, company policies, and business management systems.
Promote E+S initiatives and innovations, conducting site inspections and audits.
Proven experience in the Civils/Utilities industry in an environmental and/or sustainability role.
Degree in a relevant field and proficiency in MS Office applications.
Ability to positively influence sustainability practices within projects.
Challenge poor quality and performance constructively.
Value rules and environments, give and receive feedback respectfully.
