Facilities Administrator
Location: Birmingham, Solihull (B90)
Pay: £110-£125 per day
Hours of Work: School Hours, Monday – Friday, Term Time Only | 08:30-16:30
Start Date: ASAP

LTF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a fantastic specialist school. The provision is targeted to meet the special educational needs of young people, aged 7 -19, who have ASD.

In previous settings the pupils have exhibited challanging behaviours, which are frequently associated with a wide range of complex conditions, including ASD. The school provide a nurturing environment, where children are supported to develop strategies to manage their responses appropriately.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out minor repairs and maintenance to the buildings and grounds and working with external contractors where necessary
  • To ensure that School is a clean, safe secure and pleasant environment for school users.
  • Be responsible for school premises and to carry out any minor repairs where possible, or alternatively liaise with SLT to engage external contractors.
  • Managing and maintaining, IT equipment, telephone systems, printers, internal software systems with support from School’s external IT support providers (support provided).
  • Regular checks of CCTV, alarm systems etc, to report any issues and ensure any necessary repairs carried out.
  • Conduct daily check such as; walk round to ensure premises are safe to use, trouble shooting for any health and safety issues and ensuring all facilities are safe to use.
