As a Communications Specialist, you'll create compelling narratives, multimedia content, share our stories and help us connect with the right people.
We want someone who will help make our social media stand out, come up with creative ideas, and help us through our exciting merger with Melin Homes.
Specifically, the Communications Specialist will:
Support teams to create engaging content for established internal and external channels to support proactive campaigns and reactive activities, (e.g., news articles, social media posts and interactions, blogs, vlogs, films, newsletters, and case studies) to maximise engagement with target audiences in line with our annual Communications plan.
Work with colleagues across NCH to support teams needing communications support (e.g. proof reading, editing, web publishing, social media, comms planning, aligning messaging) to make sure all internal and external communications we issue are relevant, timely, accessible and use appropriate language, tone and branding.
Day-to-day management of NCH communication channels, including liaising with teams to plan and schedule content internally and externally.
Monitor and evaluate communications activity performance through key performance indicators and regular measurement reporting to inform and support the delivery of our communications framework and annual Communications plan.
Act as a social media lead by planning, auditing and evaluating our social media channels.
Work with colleagues to identify effective processes and improved ways of working to make sure our social media channels are managed effectively as a customer service and engagement channel.
Work with teams across the association to identify good news stories to maximise positive coverage and engagement with our colleagues, customers and communities.
Develop and maintain a suite of materials for use in reactive and planned communications activities including core scripts, bank text and generic presentations on frequently asked questions as part of our Communications Toolbox.
Work with teams across the association to develop and delivered targeted and relevant communications campaigns that contribute to the delivery of our strategic priorities.
Carry out any other duty as requested by the Communications Manager in support of the association and emerging objectives and policies.

Enhanced Pension Scheme:
