The role:
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our SDR team within our New Business department in a B2B SaaS business.

As a Skillcast SDR, your role consists of identifying and seeking new business opportunities through inbound and outbound lead qualification. You and the SDR team will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing those leads to pass to the Business Development team to follow up.

You will leverage our techniques and processes (delivered through regular training) and tools to engage with and develop relationships with potential Skillcast customers. 

Office Location: City of London

Starting salary: £31,000 per annum plus commission plan

What you will do:

  • Nurture inbound MQLs to generate appointments for business development team.
  • Outbound calling for proactive lead generation.
  • Work with the sales and marketing teams to build and execute outbound prospecting campaigns, qualify inbound leads and manage sales pipeline.
  • Qualify and disqualify new business opportunities, conducting conversations by phone as well as online.
  • Execute nurturing campaign strategies to qualify potential customers.
  • Use our internal systems like our CRM to record and manage pipeline and keep track of qualified opportunities.


What we ideally need from you:  

  • 2 years in Lead Generation / Sales Development positions – ideally gained in B2B SaaS space.
  • Technology savvy - experience of using the correct tools to generate business such as LinkedIn SalesNav, Salesloft, Lusha, HubSpot etc.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and persuasively with senior and middle management. 
  • Excellent attitude and willingness to always be open to growth and learning.
  • Driven, enthusiastic, and able to deliver results in a professional environment.
  • Highly organised and methodical approach to planning workload.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Extremely self-motivated, ability to work independently and also within a team environment.
