Ryder Reid Legal is looking for an eager and proactive HR Assistant to join one of our international law firm clients on a permanent, hybrid working basis at their London office. The successful candidate would be part of a collaborative team, including the Head of HR, HR Manager, and HR Assistant, supporting 300 staff and Partners in the London office, and working closely with the New York head office.
Maintain accurate data on the HRIS (Workday) for joiners, leavers, office transfers, and more.
Prepare HR correspondence using DocuSign, including probation completion letters, reference requests, and salary review communications.
Collaborate with the Payroll team to manage payroll and benefits changes.
Assist with visa applications and renewals as advised by our Immigration Advisor.
Coordinate the leaver process, including holiday confirmation and documentation.
Maintain HR pages on the intranet and assist with appraisal processes.
Support annual salary and bonus review processes.
Manage holiday queries, year-end holiday processes, and sickness absence records.
Handle e-filing, staff gifts, and new baby hampers.
Develop expertise in Workday, identifying new processes and ensuring full functionality.
Manage invoice payments and ad hoc project work.
Lateral Recruitment & On-boarding:
Liaise with recruitment agents and coordinate interviews.
Oversee the on-boarding process, including background checks, medicals, and conflicts checks.
Arrange inductions, IT equipment, and support recruitment initiatives.
Minimum 18 months relevant experience, ideally in the legal sector or professional services.
Strong IT skills, especially in Word and Excel, with experience in HR databases.
