HR Officer Job Description

Our client, a leading academic professional business, is seeking an experienced HR Officer to join their team. As an HR Officer, you will be responsible for providing support on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, visa compliance, and HR administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment administration, including drafting job descriptions, advertising roles, and managing the recruitment process.
  • Visa compliance, including advising payroll and liaising with the HR Manager.
  • HR administration, including maintaining personnel files and updating the Employee Handbook.
  • Supporting the Head of HR with disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Providing advice on UK employment law and HR best practice.
Requirements:
  • A good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Educated to graduate level or working towards a CIPD qualification.
  • Experience of working visa compliance and issuing work sponsorships.
