About Lendology

Lendology CIC is an accredited B Corp and carbon neutral lender. We measure our outputs in terms of impact, not profit and people make lending decisions for people. Our service is based on strong partnerships with a variety of organisations from the public, private and charitable sectors. We work in partnership with local councils to provide finance to homeowners to improve the energy efficiency of their homes. This may be through improving insulation, windows, or installing renewable energy measures such as solar panels, batteries or air source heat pumps.

Job Purpose

To help build upon connections with councils across West Yorkshire Combined Authorities, promote Lendology in the area and deliver community-focused initiatives. Our unique approach ensures that we meet the needs of many individuals who are unable to or have difficulty borrowing from traditional lenders.

Key Work Roles

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with local councils across the West Yorkshire Combined Authorities area, serving as the primary point of contact for Lendology CIC.

· Promote Lendology CIC's services to councillors and their constituents, emphasising the benefits of energy efficiency, financial assistance, and sustainable development.

· Identify partnership opportunities with councils and collaborate on initiatives to address energy-related challenges and support community development.

· Conduct outreach activities within local communities to raise awareness of Lendology CIC's services and engage residents in energy-saving initiatives.

· Organise and deliver training sessions, workshops, and events on energy efficiency, financial literacy, and related topics for council staff, community groups, and residents.

· Collect data on engagement activities, participant feedback, and program outcomes. Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.

· Liaise with stakeholders across the energy sector, not-for-profit advice sector, and other relevant industries to share best practices, identify opportunities for collaboration, and stay informed about industry trends.

· An ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders

· Professional and organised and with the ability to interpret and follow internal policy and procedures 

· Manage time effectively

· Excellent team player

· Able to work professionally with a variety of agencies and organisations, building partnerships and referral pathways with local/national organisations

· Committed to training and personal development 

Essential

The successful candidate will evidence

· Proven experience in community engagement, partnership development or a related field,

·  Knowledge of energy sector and not for profit sector

· Experience of relationship building across community organisations and/or the public sector.

· Ability to drive to various locations within the West Yorkshire Combined Authorities area and to travel to the Head office on occasion
