Proposal Development: Create and present persuasive sales proposals and presentations to both new and existing clients. Collaboration: Partner with engineering, production, and project management teams to ensure client requirements are met and exceeded. Market Insight: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and market demands to inform strategic sales initiatives. Sales Reporting: Monitor and analyze account performance, providing regular updates to management and adjusting strategies as necessary. Negotiation: Lead pricing, contract, and terms negotiations with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements. Customer Support: Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, addressing issues quickly and effectively. Visiting Clients: Approx 7 days of the Month spent attending site visits with current and prospective Clients Skills & Qualifications of a Sales Account Manager: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in sales within the fabrication or manufacturing sector, with a focus on account management. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and industry standards. Sales Skills: Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue. Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and sustain relationships at all levels of client organizations. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to present complex information clearly and persuasively. Analytical Abilities: Proficient in data-driven decision-making and problem-solving. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects concurrently, while meeting deadlines. Travel: Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.
