We are looking for an excellent Pre-Sales Consultant to join the team. The team is focused on the following markets that this role will support: London Market Broking, International Broking, Reinsurance Broking, Insurance Distribution (Carrier and MGA) and Retail.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with sales on proposals and pitches for business.
  • Demonstrating Novidea solutions to customers alongside members of the sales team.
  • Estimation and scope the delivery for proposals.
  • Configuration and set up of tailored demonstrations.
  • Owning the UK demonstration environment, its road map and working with the Novidea Product team to ensure the environment's continued development.
  • Being current on market initiatives and trends.
  • Attending customer meetings and acting as a technical/industry expert.
  • Working closely and collaboratively with customers to devise effective solutions.
  • Ensuring that Novidea’s product can be delivered to the customer’s requirements.
  • Ensuring effective handover from Sales to Delivery.
  • Working closely with customers to understand and capture their requirements.
  • Replying to customers following requests for information and proposal requests.
  • Provide customer feedback to the product management and engineering teams to capture new customer requirements and enhancements.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in pre-sales, solutions consulting, product or similar role supporting a software solution within the Insurance market
  • 5+ years experience within the Lloyd’s market
  • 7+ years experience within the Insurance market

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to present and engage with C-suite prospects
  • Good understanding of modern systems architecture at cloud based systems
  • Good understanding of modern web and mobile front-end systems including the tools, processes and technologies behind
  • Proactive problem-solving skills
  • Ability to summarize, contextualize, and communicate complex issues
  • Ability to manage multiple projects / tasks at the same time
  • Detail and results orientated
  • Capability to translate business requirements into compelling software demonstrations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • High degree of confidence in presenting software demos and leading technical pre-sales discussions

Desired Certifications / Qualifications and experience:

  • ACII or working towards qualification
  • Expert knowledge of the complete sales lifecycle with extensive experience responding to sales RFIs/RFPs and configuring software demos at very high levels of quality
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience configuring and demonstrating the Salesforce.com Sales or Service Cloud Apps, or a similar leading CRM application is preferred
