London, United Kingdom Ealing Council Full time

Assistant Director of Housing Asset Management & Assistant Director of Housing Landlord Services
Full Time
The borough is changing, as a place and a council. We are shifting power to communities and transforming our relationship with our residents. This reflects our shared ambition to modernise local government in a way that empowers communities and liberates our workforce. We want children to have a fairer start and our local people to feel they have control over their lives, a decent income, an affordable home, and a happy, healthy life.
That is why we need inspiring leadership in place to accelerate our journey to better reflect the borough’s diversity, address inequality, create good jobs, and tackle the climate emergency. We are becoming more open, transparent, and inclusive as we create a culture which truly places our communities at the heart of all we do.
We are looking for two talented leaders to join our Housing team as the Assistant Director of Housing Landlord Services and the Assistant Director of Housing Asset Management . You will work together to lead that positive change across our council housing stock, working with our tenants to deliver our commitment of ‘safe and genuinely affordable homes’ now and for the future, that we can all be proud of.
You will have experience of working in a housing senior leadership role providing services to the public, preferably from a public, private, or social housing sector and have the energy and expertise that the role demands, with a track record of delivery.
We are looking for inspirational leaders who have our values and can bring energy, ambition and a passion to drive change that improves outcomes for our diverse communities.
To apply, please submit your CV along with a Supporting Statement addressing how your skills, knowledge and experience meet the essential criteria on the Person Specification of the Role Profile and complete the Equalities Monitoring form.
Please keep your CV and Supporting Statement to two pages each and include your name at the top of both documents on all pages used.
