Payroll Manager

We are currently representing a reputable company in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in their search for an experienced and dedicated Payroll Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to lead and manage the payroll function within a dynamic organization.

As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the payroll process for the company. You will ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with payroll regulations, and provide exceptional service to employees. The Role:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, calculations, and deductions, while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Stay updated on payroll regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring all payroll activities adhere to legal and tax obligations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll-related inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to employees.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to relevant departments and ensure accurate record-keeping of payroll transactions.
  • Lead process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the payroll function.
  • Manage payroll vendor relationships and coordinate payroll-related audits.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in payroll legislation.

The Person :

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or in a similar payroll leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of relevant payroll software and systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
