This $70m turnover international division of a global group of companies, is looking for an experienced Sales Director to join their growing business.


As part of the local Senior Leadership Team, you will be collaborating with your peers globally, including the local General Manager, whilst providing coaching and mentoring your sales team.


Responsibilities:

  • To explore and develop new and existing business opportunities, working closely with the current customers to understand their needs, desires, and potential; as well as identifying new markets to grow into.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the business’s strategic Sales objectives and processes and engages in sensitive and high-value business development activities.
  • Access existing skills and capabilities within the team, coaching and mentoring to drive growth.
  • Create a positive, engaging and supportive culture, maintaining a safe environment that is inclusive. One that is open, honest, with good communication.

Requirements

  • Previous experience at a similar level.
  • Experience should come from a similar business – manufacturing engineering.
  • Can demonstrate business growth into new markets and strong business development capabilities.
  • The ability to establish strong integrated relationships with the customer, providing added value strategic sales planning to help them drive sales of your product.
  • Strong leadership skills, understanding how to coach, mentor and empower your team to positive growth.
  • Experience of transformation would be beneficial – both of the function and team.
