About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Hartmann Young as a Sales Manager, where you will play a key role in driving sales growth and leading a young team of sales professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the sales team in identifying and winning new OEM accounts, with a focus on revenue growth from service, distributors, and end-user sales.
  • Develop and execute a sales plan to drive business growth, working closely with the sales director and marketing team.
  • Build relationships with key prospective customers, creating technical quotations and presenting them with confidence.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop content that supports both sales and after-sales activities.
  • Provide technical advice and sales support to team members, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Grow the assigned territory by a minimum of 10% per year, with a focus on lead generation and attending trade shows in Europe.
  • Develop autonomy from the sales director to focus on growing the US business, ensuring lessons learned are transferred to other territories.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience working with international business, with a proven track record in sales or project management.
  • A degree or background in science or engineering, with a strong interest in personal development and growth into an excellent team leader.
  • Understanding of the value of establishing and refining a sales process, as well as accurate forecasting and its benefits to sales teams.
  • Personal qualities including transparency, accountability, honesty, approachability, efficiency, results-driven, customer-focused, and solution-oriented.
  • Proven ability to work to self-imposed targets and achieve success.
