Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a global leader in branded spirits.


Disaronno is a premium spirits and wine business and the new UK entity of Italian multinational ILLVA Saronno S.p.A. and home of the world’s most famous Italian Liqueur Disaronno and the well-known coffee liqueur, Tia Maria.


We are now on a journey of expansion into new categories within spirits and also into previously untapped channels of distribution. The area of On Trade Key Accounts is the focus of this newly-created position.


Job Role


Reporting to the Sales Director On Trade


Hands on management and growth of a portfolio of Key Account Multiple Operators in the On Trade across the Spirit’s Category.


Grow volume and distribution of existing SKU’s through both commercial partnerships and innovative best in class visibility and activation. Key within the role is to gain listings of NPD and deliver a significant NPD pipeline.


Background and Skills


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or related field within the UK On/Off Trade
  • Proven success of launching NPD into the UK
  • Experience of spirits would be advantageous
  • Entrepreneurial and ambitious self-starter with the ability to achieve targets and effectively organise own work schedule
  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Strong commercial/financial understanding, together with intellect and curiosity to interpret performance, recommending appropriate actions
  • Ability to manage projects and multi-task whilst building strong and positive relationships at all levels (internal and external)
  • Able to build strong commercial relationships
  • Able to flourish with minimal guidance, being pro active and able to handle uncertainty
  • Passionate about spirits and wines
