You'll work with our senior lawyers to assist on wide range of cases, build up your own caseload and help our team to deliver a fantastic service to our clients.

  • The opportunity to be a key part of the team working with leaders to help develop and define the Clinical Negligence function.
  • You will have great exposure to working with and assisting a Partner and a number of Paralegals.
  • Having you own caseload and building a portfolio that will develop your career in the Leicester/East Midlands market


Key Responsibilities

Our Clinical Negligence team deal with claims arising as a result of healthcare professionals acting against the interests of our client’s health. We advise clients who have suffered physical, mental or economic loss as a result of this negligence and guide them through the initial investigation into their claim and thereafter proceeding through the pre-action and post issue phases of County and High Court litigation. We also regularly attend our client’s inquests. Our specialist team have dealt with thousands of claims against hospital trusts, private healthcare providers, care homes, individual GPs and dentists on a variety of different injuries ranging from low to high severity, with particular expertise in relation to fatal claims, industrial disease cases, amputations, brain injury and multiple injuries.


Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • a minimum of 2 years’ experience working on clinical negligence cases, including issued cases
  • proven experience of dealing with complex and straightforward claims

This role will be hybrid, working from our Leicester office ideally at least 2 days a week.
