About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Negligence Solicitor to join our team at Lime Solicitors. As a key player in our Clinical Negligence function, you will have the opportunity to work with our senior lawyers to assist on a wide range of cases, build up your own caseload, and help our team deliver a fantastic service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist on complex and straightforward claims, including issued cases
  • Deal with clients who have suffered physical, mental, or economic loss as a result of medical negligence
  • Guide clients through the initial investigation into their claim and thereafter proceed through the pre-action and post-issue phases of County and High Court litigation
  • Regularly attend client inquests and provide expert advice on medical negligence cases
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working on clinical negligence cases, including issued cases
  • Proven experience of dealing with complex and straightforward claims
  • Strong IT skills and commercial awareness
  • A desire to exceed client expectations and a high degree of initiative
  • Excellent organisational and prioritising skills, with the ability to work in a busy team
  • Excellent communication skills and a desire to enhance client relationships through day-to-day activity
  • Routinely recording 100% of chargeable time per month and feeling and exhibiting empathy for our clients
