We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Negligence Solicitor to join our team at Lime Solicitors. As a key member of our Clinical Negligence team, you will play a crucial role in assisting our senior lawyers on a wide range of cases, building your own caseload, and contributing to the delivery of an exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist on complex and straightforward clinical negligence cases, including issued cases.
- Deal with claims arising from healthcare professionals acting against the interests of our clients' health.
- Advise clients who have suffered physical, mental, or economic loss as a result of negligence.
- Guide clients through the initial investigation into their claim and subsequent litigation phases.
- Regularly attend clients' inquests and provide expert testimony.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working on clinical negligence cases, including issued cases.
- Proven experience of dealing with complex and straightforward claims.
- Strong IT skills and commercial awareness.
- A high degree of initiative and ability to cope in a demanding environment.
- Excellent organisational and prioritising skills.
- Ability to work in a busy team and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Desire to exceed client expectations and enhance client relationships through day-to-day activity.
- Routine recording of 100% of chargeable time per month.
- Empathy for clients and a sense of humour.
