Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor/Lawyer to join our team in Leicester. As a key player in the expansion of our Clinical Negligence function, you will work closely with our senior lawyers to assist on a wide range of cases, build up your own caseload, and help our team deliver a fantastic service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist on a wide range of Clinical Negligence cases, including claims arising from healthcare professionals acting against the interests of our clients' health.
  • Build up your own caseload and develop a portfolio that will advance your career in the Leicester/East Midlands market.
  • Work with our specialist team to advise clients who have suffered physical, mental, or economic loss as a result of negligence.
  • Guide clients through the initial investigation into their claim and proceed through the pre-action and post-issue phases of County and High Court litigation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of dealing with complex and straightforward claims.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
