Your new company
Hays is working with a local government organisation in the Hertfordshire area, looking for a temporary admin support assistant.
Your new role
The core function of the role is to provide administrative support to the team, act as the first point of contact for both external and internal enquiries.
Other responsibilities include, but not limited to, taking phone payments, raising purchase orders, processing data onto systems, scanning documents, order office supplies and post distribution.

  • £13 hourly
  • Monday–Friday (30 hours)

What you'll need to succeed
  • Prior experience working
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages
  • Experience with housing management system (desirable)
  • Confident working in a team as well as being able to take initiative
  • Organised and able to prioritise to meet deadlines
  • Calm and confident approach to dealing with difficult situations
  • Happy to travel to other locations as the role requires
  • Flexible approach to work
