The Role: In this role, you will sell a range of market leading capital equipment, used to surgically treat cataracts. Alongside this, you will sell the consumable surgical packs for these products. You will work as the company's national representative across the UK for the phacoemulsification product portfolio. The territory has some exciting accounts with a lot of scope to grow.

The Company: This company is a leading distributor for ophthalmic capital and consumable equipment. They provide equipment, services and expertise offering a market leading portfolio at a range of price points at a premium quality. They are expanding their product portfolio and teams so it is an exciting time to join their team.

To be considered for the Business Development Manager role you must have:

· Ophthalmology sales experience OR

· Theatre sales experience

· Clinical understanding of IOL's, cataracts or VR surgical procedures will enhance your application

· A personable character, commercial mindset, motivation and determination.

The Package for Business Development Manager:

· Basic: £65-75k depending on experience

· £20k OTE + uncapped commission

· £800 PM car allowance OR company car

· 25 days holidays, healthcare, pension

Desired Skills and Experience

· Ophthalmology sales experience OR

· Theatre sales experience

· Clinical understanding of IOL's, cataracts or VR surgical procedures will enhance your application
