Business Development Manager

The Role: Responsible for both winning new business and managing existing client relationships in EMEA, this Business Development Manager position is well-suited to a highly consultative salesperson with previous experience in a solution-based, subscription sales environment. As a BDM, you will be responsible for:

· Selling access to research/insight reports, forecasting and consultancy services on the emerging technology market.

· Pitching to C-Level decision makers and Heads of departments within Software, Tech, Engineering, Medtech etc.

· Promoting the business on webinars and at conferences across the UK and Europe

This is an excellent opportunity for a BDM, with a track-record of success managing complex B2B pipelines. You will take full ownership of the sales process, including lead generation, new business acquisition, day-to-day account management and commercial expansion of existing clients. The successful BDM will be very client facing, attending meetings and events on regular basis, with international travel likely once per quarter.

Requirements:

· 5+ years of B2B sales experience in a closing role

· Experience in a complex, subscription sales environment (eg. BI/data, market research or SaaS)

· Driven, switched-on and articulate individual who is looking for an independent yet friendly and supportive work culture.

Benefits:

· £55-65k basic + OTE £30-40k in Year 1

· Fully remote working - travel required
