Dometic UK Ltd are looking to recruit a key member of their sales team – RVAM Sales Executive. The purpose of this role is to manage an existing customer portfolio in Mid/Southern England region, maximise sales productivity and grow new business opportunities in the RV Aftermarket Sales business vertical.


This position is a combination of field and office based (at our offices in Blandford, Dorset). Daily travel and in person presence is an ongoing expectation of the successful candidate.


Main Responsibilities

  • To increase sales and range build with existing aftermarket retailers, ecommerce dealers, installing dealers, distributors and special vehicle manufacturers.
  • To manage existing and to introduce new customers; and broaden customer awareness of Dometic products within the territory to all key customers and prospects within RV/AM.
  • To manage customer base within a CRM system and introduce new customers to it.
  • To build new sales and customers in the rapidly growing retail sector.
  • To provide technical product and installation training.
  • To undertake any other reasonable request or duties commensurate with your post.
  • To be responsible for your own health and safety and aware of other's health and safety in the workplace.


Who are we looking for

Qualifications and Experience

We believe that the ideal candidate has the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Proven track record within aftermarket field sales and account management for B2B and B2C customers.
  • Experience selling technical products and services, preferably within the special vehicle manufacturing sector.
  • Experience of selling and/or working with to all types of customer groups – wholesalers, dealerships, e-commerce and installing customers.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Full UK Driving licence.

  • Knowledge of a special/recreational vehicle manufacturing sector and operators within it
  • Competent written and verbal presentation skills (ability to present to Customers)
  • Contract negotiation capability and confidence in managing customers
  • Knowledge of the most effective media models and exhibitions to attract potential clients.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, ability to self-manage sales territory properly and efficiently.
  • Ability to use IT, in particular Microsoft Office programs, to assist with account management duties.
