Customers include; general engineering and metalworking, fabrication & welding, and assembly environments.

They are now looking for a technically minded Area Sales Manager who is centrally based in the UK to support and further develop their customers.


The role

  • Working from home. This is a technical solutions sales role rather than box shifting or selling on price.
  • Following up enquires and leads with end users - understanding applications and recommending appropriate solutions
  • Covering central patch: Birmingham, Oxford, Cheltenham, S.Wales
  • Maintaining relationships with existing dealers/distributors and end users
  • Sales analysis
  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure the right products are promoted effectively
  • Identify new distributors and end users
  • Sell a range of high-quality engineering and metalwork hand power tools including welding equipment


Requirements

  • Likely to be a mechanical engineer
  • Previous field sales experience is essential, sales engineer, key account manager, dealer manager
  • You will have solid knowledge of industrial power tools, welding equipment, abrasives, cutting tools is preferred
