As an SME experiencing rapid growth we are in need of a People & Academy Operations Lead to join our team and help take us through our next growth plans.

Position Overview: As People and Academy Operations Lead, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including recruitment, onboarding, wellbeing, ongoing pastoral people support and career development. You will ensure that our people have all the support and care they need to thrive, throughout our training programmes and when working with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment: Assist with the hiring of new Associate Consultants who work with our clients, and external learners for Skills Bootcamps

Onboarding: Assisting with onboarding activities for new employees; coordinate and liaise with other people to ensure people are onboarded to CTA and our clients

Wellbeing and People Support: Being a day-to-day contact for wellbeing and general people support; develop and implement wellbeing programmes to support the needs of employees

Ongoing Learning and training support: Assisting in supporting and directing people towards learning and training to support them in their roles

1-2-1s and Performance: assist with 1-2-1s and performance management processes; support people in implementing development plans

Systems & Processes: Oversee the administration, systems, and documentation processes for our academy and people operations.

Other operations support work: providing support for other operations activities, for example, organising events and associate travel / accommodation organisation

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in technology early careers programmes / training support – apprenticeships, skills bootcamps etc.
  • Experience in hiring processes and / or HR or wellbeing roles
  • Knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, and performance management processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
