This role will sit as part of the Internal Comms team whose purpose is to connect people to the strategy and help them understand how their role contributes to the delivery of the strategy. They do this by working with senior leaders to help them develop their communications plans in support of the key business priorities and encouraging their people to share their feedback, ideas and experiences.

JOB PURPOSE

The position reports to the Internal Communications Director and is part of the wider Internal Communications department.

To support the business priority campaigns by defining and prioritising strategic comms objectives – to design, implement and measure internal communications plans while always considering and focusing on activities and priorities that support our frontline.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • As part of the Internal Comms Leadership team, create an effective airline wide event strategy and narrative that aligns with IC strategy.
  • Design and deliver regular campaign activations and events to increase engagement and encourage two-way conversation between leaders and our people.
  • Plan and coordinate all logistics for events, including managing the events calendar.
  • Deliver event campaigns to promote events through our internal channels, including event logistics, presentations, collateral and promotional materials.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders and colleagues to bring engagement activations and events to life ensuring alignment with wider IC activities and the People Strategy
  • Source and negotiate with vendors, venues and suppliers to secure resources within budget constraints, working with the procurement team as appropriate
  • Manage event budgets, including cost estimation, allocation, and tracking expenses
  • Apply a strategic and creative internal comms lens when developing activations and events, and supporting communications plans
  • After the events, complete post-event evaluations to measure the success of events.
  • Analyse attendee feedback and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Drive employee engagement and morale through innovative and interactive event experiences
  • Utilise internal communication channels effectively to promote events and drive attendance
  • Measure the success of events through metrics such as attendance, participant feedback, and impact on our goals
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in internal communications and events management to continuously improve strategies and tactics
